Microsoft-backed study: white space spectrum worth $100B over 15 years

FierceWireless’ definition is not quite correct - white space spectrum refers to vacant TV spectrum in the current VHF (fixed use) and UHF TV (fixed and portable/mobile use) bands , not in the 700 MHz band (the former channels 52-69). The original study by Perspective Associates in the UK assumes that wifi is extended to white space spectrum.
